Our Social Media Community Guidelines
By using or accessing our social media accounts, you also agree to comply with the respective terms and conditions for each social media website/app. Because we are committed to allowing and showing all comments that adhere to the above guidelines, it is important to note that not all posts on the Mauch Chunk Trust Facebook page necessarily reflect the opinions of Mauch Chunk Trust, nor does Mauch Chunk Trust confirm their accuracy. Also, in addition to the rights that you grant to to the respective social media websites/apps, you also grant to MCT the right to utilize publicly posted content in any manner without any legal or monetary obligation to the poster.
Identity theft is very serious; please do not post personal information publicly. Please do not post any information you do not want publicly available. Mauch Chunk Trust will never ask you to provide your account number, credit card number, password, social security number, or any other personal or confidential information through our social media pages. Private/direct messages through social media accounts are not a secure method of contact with Mauch Chunk Trust Company. We cannot respond to any specific questions regarding your MCT accounts on our social media accounts, but you are always welcome to contact us.
The mission of the Mauch Chunk Trust Company social community is to increase awareness and support of our local community initiatives and foster a spirit of volunteerism and involvement between all local shareholders to build the strongest communities possible. We monitor our social communities from 8am – 5pm ET, Monday through Friday (except for bank holidays). You should expect to hear from us within 24-48 hours of your post. Should you need more immediate assistance, contact us directly or speak with any of our Personal Bankers.
Keep it clean: Obscenities, pornography, illegal or otherwise harmful or offensive content in posts, images, subject lines or usernames will not be tolerated and will be deleted. We value your feedback and want to help, but we will not respond to offensive posts.
Be patient: Our social media pages are moderated by MCT associates and we will try our best to respond to your posts in a timely manner. However, we can’t guarantee that we’ll reply to every comment. We apologize if we do not address your concerns immediately, but again, you are always welcome to call us directly or speak with any of our Personal Bankers.
Be respectful: Posts that express hatred based on race, gender, religious beliefs, ethnic background or sexual preference, through words or images, will be deleted and may cause you to be banned from the community permanently.
Keep it legal: Do not use the community to promote or participate in illegal activity, including embedding viruses, Trojan horses, worms, corrupted files, malicious code, active code or any materials in posts that could harm another user’s computer. You agree to use Mauch Chunk Trust Company social communities solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
Respect Intellectual Property Rights: Only post content that you own. Posting others’ materials, including third party trademarks, may be infringement.
No Cyber-stalking: Behavior deemed to be stalking or threatening to another member may be reported to the authorities.
Mauch Chunk Trust Company employees: Please disclose your employment with Mauch Chunk Trust as we want to make sure the community is aware of any biases you may have. We welcome team member engagement but do not endorse those that aren’t from authorized representatives of the bank.
